Burger King agrees that it took $ 3.26 billion 3G Capital

LOS ANGELES / NEW YORK (MEDIAFAX) - U.S. fast food chain Burger King Holdings Inc., accepted an offer from a British investment company 3G Capital to acquire for $ 3.26 billion (63 billion). She said that on Thursday, Reuters.

British investment company offered $ 24 per string per share. Under the terms of an agreement with Burger King may try to get a higher bid from another candidate and 12 October.

"It looks like a good price for shareholders in Burger King. I do not suppose anyone will offer more," said Tom Forte, an analyst with Telsey Advisory Group.

The transaction should be completed in the last quarter of this year.

Shares of Burger King responded to the report of strengthening by 23 percent to 23.26 dollars a piece for the opening of capital markets.
