Fidel Castro admits Cuban socialism does not work

HAVANA (MEDIAFAX) - Former Cuban President Fidel Castro for the first time admitted that the economic model in the Caribbean island state has failed and the Soviet-style socialism is an anachronism, which is not worth exporting to the world. Informs Reuters on Wednesday.

His impressions of recent interviews with Castro and published on his blog, American journalist Jeffrey Goldberg. When asked whether he should even Cuban socialism to export to other countries, eighty-four Revolutionary said: "The Cuban model no longer works for ourselves."
