Basel III. please the banks



Today's introduction of trading in Europe takes place in an optimistic mood. Positive information in the form macrodata from China, especially industrial production and inflation suggest that the largest Asian economy in the not so bad.

In addition, a new set of rules for bank regulation, in particular the ratio of capital to risk-weighted assets. The magnitude of this level (Tier 1) rises to 6% from the current 4%, large banks, however, apparently afraid of eventually higher demand.

European indexes are added from 0.5% to 1%, the Prague bourse grow less (+0.4%). The initial euphoria that was visible after 9:00 but slowly fades.
