Skoda Auto plant shutdown during the holiday will extend the capacity of all factories
Mlada Boleslav (MEDIAFAX) - Skoda Auto Mladoboleslavská modernize all three domestic plants in the Czech Republic. Making use of the upcoming company holidays from the 30th July to 12 August 2012.
Company during this two-week production shutdown forward the modernization and capacity expansion of manufacturing plants.
The main production plant in Mlada Boleslav was gearing up to begin production of the new Škoda models. The automaker therefore uses the plant-wide vacation to make the necessary preparations. The production lines descend Mladá Boleslav plant in the autumn of this year, a new compact sedan Skoda Rapid, the first dealers in the Czech Republic and then to other European markets.
Severocesky race car Vrchlabí is preparing for production of dual clutch gearbox DQ200. Since September 2012, the Skoda Auto to produce gearbox DQ200 for all Group brands. Capacity will initially be one thousand transmissions a day. In the second half of 2013, production will increase to a maximum of 1,500 pieces gearbox DQ200 day. Building lever are also conducted in the branch plant in Kvasiny, performs, among other changes in the body shop, paint shop and assembly.
