Antitrust Authority fined the TS Ledeč Sázavou oversold contracts for waste collection

BRNO (MEDIAFAX) - President of the Office for Protection of Competition Peter Rafaj confirmed a fine of 100,000 crowns TS Ledeč of the town. Mediafax agency's officials on Friday confirmed the Office of the Press Department.

Antitrust Authority fined the company for the distribution of Havlíčkův Brod Public service contracts related to the management of municipal waste in the Ledeč Sázavou into four separate contracts without using the appropriate procurement procedure.

The TS Ledeč Sázavou whose sole owner is a city in one day signed a contract with the company. ASA, spol. Ltd., (Prague) on receipt, and other waste management and the company. Dačice ASA Ltd., two contracts, and contract for work and a contract for the lease and operation of the collecting yard. Contract of lease of means of transport entered into with the sponsor. ASADačice approximately a month earlier.

Only after signing the contracts entered into an agreement with the city sponsor a comprehensive waste management Ledeč Sázavou over a maximum of 4.8 million, including lease and operation of the collection point, which the city owns. The Contracting Authority must therefore be aware that their own capacity to carry out only marginal performance of 99.5 percent under investigation contracts filled by subcontractors.

The company also distinctly přeprodala contract private entities, without tender. How could such authority by the antimonopoly "substantially influence the selection of the best bid."
