Ministry of Education abolished the post of first-graders on the utilities
PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - Parents of first-graders will no longer receive the allowance for utilities - the so-called pastelkovné. Mediafax Agency confirmed on Tuesday that Patrick Kubas from the press department of the Ministry of Education.
The reason for cancellation is necessary to resort to an opinion of savings. The so-called pastelkovné last year was 800 crowns per child per school copybooks or money to buy tools for drawing.
"Contribution to the aids for first year students, called pastelkovné for 2012 was canceled. Reason for the decreasing amount of money for other non-investment expenditure, ie expenditure on teaching aids, school supplies, textbooks, etc. The amount of approximately 80 million instead of the 'pastelkovného' being used for other non-investment spending, "Kubas said.
Contribution to the Chamber of Deputies approved the utilities in 2006. Its introduction was justified by the fact that at the beginning of the school year are cumulative for families with children who are beginning to comply with compulsory school attendance,
extraordinary expenses and number of households with these pressures are difficult to equalize. Contribution, which was intended to buy school supplies and needs, so should allow families with children with a cope.
