Stocks rise slightly after the data from the U.S. property market

Today, European shares were flat most of the day, when good and bad news from the world economy are mutually compensated. Investors pleased by such information that foreign direct investment in China fell to two-year low, while better than expected UK retail sales fell. The impulse to moderate growth eventually provided data from the U.S. property market. Number of buildings started in the U.S., although below expectations, but significantly positively surprised by the new work permit, which reached its highest level since August 2008, suggesting higher construction activity in the future. Estimates, on the contrary has not reached the industrial index from the neighborhood of Philadelphia, who remains in the range of contraction. The individual titles have taken such shares of Cisco Systems (8%), which helped to better-than-expected quarterly results.Facebook shares fall on the contrary, because from now, some time since IPO shareholders sell their shares, leading to concerns of excess sales over buyers.

The Prague Stock Exchange strengthened by 0.7%, mainly due to gains Erste Bank (3.8%). Good mood in the Western European financial sector also helped VIG shares rose slightly and the other big issue in addition to commercial bank wrote off 1.3% despite an increase in target prices from well-known investment bank JPMorgan. The largest decline (-3%) eventually showed KIT Digital shares, they still react to disappointing results for last quarter, which the company announced on Tuesday evening.
