CEZ enters the EEX


CEZ recently published data from their manufacturing processes and the EEX Exchange Portal

German energy exchange EEX has expanded its platform, "Transparency in the energy markets" as well as the Czech Republic.CEZ, as for many companies from Austria and Germany, from today through this platform to publish the availability of its resources, schedules shutdowns and outages. The objective is streamlining production processes. This step is the fulfillment of European Directive Remit we collect that from 28.12.2011 ordering manufacturers to indicate that data.

"On entering the EEX exchange for greater transparency, there are complete data is collected and from other providers. Overall, this will contribute to greater clarity in the production of electrical energy, and it helps us fulfill our obligations Remit we collect, "said Michal SkalkaDirector of Trading CEZ Group.

Market participants and other interested parties on an exchange portal www.transparency.eex.com will find daily updated data of actual production, installed capacity of available power and planned shutdowns of nuclear, coal and hydroelectric power plants of CEZ Group. Information unscheduled outages will be published immediately after their discovery.

CEZ started to voluntarily disclose the availability of its plants as the first manufacturer in the Czech Republic already in 2007. Then after adding to the requirements of the European Parliament and Council No. 1227/2011 of 25 October 2011 about the integrity and transparency of the wholesale energy market (Remit we collect), which requires individual entities conducting transactions on the market to ensure effective and timely disclosure of all information that could affect the energy market.
