ČEZ started installing charging stations for electric vehicles at McDonald's


PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - Charging station for electric energy group CEZ installed at McDonald's restaurant at the Prague class. It is the first charging station that is set up in a network of restaurants in the Czech Republic.

"The opening of this station is the beginning of a much greater cooperation between CEZ and McDonald's. Our partnership should develop in the Czech Republic backbone stations, which serve as the basis for further development of electromobility," said Paul Cyrani, board member and director of strategy of CEZ.

McDonald's restaurants are not only in cities but also on the highways, and they are often at a distance, which is consistent with a range of most electric cars, said Cyrani.

"We are committed to a responsible approach to the environment, and it is for us to participate in the project to build charging stations logical step," said the CEO of McDonald's CR / SR Alexander Schramm.

The parent company and core group CEZ electricity producer ČEZ, which in 1992 founded the National Property Fund of the Czech Republic. Besides the production and sale of electricity is one of the activities of ČEZ and telecommunications, informatics, nuclear research, design, construction and maintenance of energy facilities, mining or processing of by-products.
