U.S. - Retail sales rose in August, the most in six months and more than expected

Retail sales in the U.S. in August rose 0.9% mom growth in July compared to the previous 0.6%. Average market expectation was set to grow by 0.8% in the overall estimates range from +0.3 to +1.5%.
The main reason for the growth of the automotive sector, where the growing interest in cars and rising costs for fuel.

Sales excluding the automotive sector and fuel rose by 0.1% compared to the expected growth of 0.4%.
Revenues excluding themselves car sales grew by 0.8% compared to the expected market growth of 0.7%.
Car sales grew by 1.3% in July, compared with an improvement of 0.1%. In August, it sold 14.5 million new cars annually, compared with July's 14.1 million.
Sales at gas and service stations in August rose by 5.5%, which was the highest since November 2009. The average price of gasoline in August rose by 54 cents to $ 3.87 the resulting per gallon.

7 out of 13 major categories experienced growth in August.

Sales grew by 1% in the sector of construction materials.

The so-called. -core retail sales, which in themselves do not affect volatile categories of car sales, building materials and fuel, fell by 0.1% in July, compared to a growth of 0.8%.
Decrease of 0.1% was recorded clothing sector declined by 0.3% revenues supermarkets. Sectors recorded growth in sales furniture sales and restaurants.
