U.S. - the number of new housing starts grew by 2.3% and fell short of estimates


Number of new housing starts in the U.S. in August grew by 2.3% to 750,000 units in annual terms. The market expected to grow to an average of 767,000 housing starts in the overall estimates range from 740 to 800 000th U.S. real estate market recently thrive record low mortgage rates and real estate prices near lows. The number of newly initiated multi-generational homes including rental housing fell by 4.9% to 215,000 units.

Growth reported by 2 of the 4 major U.S. regions, led by 21procentním improvement in the Midwest. 3.7% scored South.
