Boeing lowered its growth forecasts cargo fleet for the next 20 years


American transport aircraft manufacturer Boeing said today that due to a decrease in demand reduces signals its long-term growth estimates for the fleet of cargo aircraft in the next 20 years. According to Boeing's average annual growth of the sector will reach in the next 20 years, the level of 5.2% from the previously estimated 5.9%. According to the company segment of air cargo will grow and break down despite the overall global economic uncertainty.
At present, the sector suffers somewhat when, after some recovery in 2010 or still passed through two more lean years.

Number of cargo transport aircraft to the year 2031 will increase from the current 1,738 to 3,198 machines, where a large cargo aircraft will represent 36% of the total compared to the current 31%.

The main growth area will remain Asia Pacific conjunction with others. National transport in China and Asia as such somewhat reduced pace of its growth.

Boeing said it expects further growth in fuel prices from current levels. The effectiveness of air cargo will grow, among other things due to the greater efficiency of the aircraft and sophisticated infrastructure.
