The number of newly registered passenger cars in the Czech Republic continues to grow
PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - Total 131,059 new passenger cars were registered in the Czech Republic in the period between January and March 2012, which is compared to the same period last year, an increase of 3,574 units (+2.8 percent). Through its statistics said on Thursday informed the Car Importers Association (SDA).
In the first three quarters of this year recorded a Car Importers Association annual increase in the number of registrations as well as for buses (+7,39 percent). Other motor vehicle registrations compared to last year fared worse. Trucks in this regard fell 7.05 percent to 5,257 units, light commercial vehicles fell by 9.92 percent to 8,286 cars and motorcycle registrations fell by 8.54 per cent to 13,717 units.
Among the most new passenger cars registered in the Czech Republic ranks among the year's statistics Skoda cars (cars 30.63 percent), followed by Hyundai automobiles, Volgswagen, Ford and Renault.
In terms of fuel placed on the first rung of the cars tankující Gasoline (56.24 percent), followed by diesel (40.95 percent). Other, alternative fuels are below the one percent of the total number of new car registrations in the Czech Republic.
The most popular color for cars registered in the Czech Republic is still white (20.93 percent), which ranked as the gray car (18.68 percent) and the bronze is rung with 14.59 percent red.
"If we look at the actual September, then the biggest surprise of the unexpected increase in registrations of trucks, however, achieved good results and registration of buses and motorcycles," commentedSeptember statistics SDA Secretary Paul Tunkl and added: "For passenger cars and light commercial vehicles registered Association in September a decrease."
Car Importers Association is an independent voluntary association of legal persons.
