Rosenberg began harvesting, the largest lake in the Czech Republic


OLD EARTH (MEDIAFAX) - Fishermen began on Friday morning with the harvesting of the largest lake in the country, Rosenberg. Harvesting takes place once every two years and watch it regularly, thousands of people, said John Huda, chairman Fisheries Trebon.

When Rosenberg catch fishermen pull in an average of about 150 tons of fish, most are carp, it is also a grass carp, bighead carp, pike, perch and catfish.

"Fishing will last three days, ever since seven in the morning," said Huda.

According to him, the yield per hectare is the highest Rosenberg case, but the catch always attracts a large number of people for whom the fishermen prepared a rich accompanying program. Besides fresh and smoked fish, and otherwise prepared to be available and plenty of young wine and Moravian wines.

Visitors can also see the traditional fishing craft, fishing and nets full of fish.

The largest pond in the Czech Republic with an area of ??647 hectares built in the 16th century Jakub Krčín of Jelčany.

For other South ponds to trap even large Spolsky on 17 and 18 October, further Záblatský on 22 to 25 October 7th Blato November and from 19 Trebon World to 22 November.
