STEM: The Czechs, the minimum wage and unemployment insufficient

PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - The minimum wage should be 14,000 crowns a month and gross unemployment 8800 crowns, he thinks most people, the real figures are much lower. It results from the October poll by the STEM published on Thursday.

Real average salary from the ideas of people vary slightly, most people think that it should be approximately 25,000 gross per month. This corresponds to reality, unlike the ideas of people on the minimum wage and unemployment benefits.

The fair value of the minimum wage is 8000, which is a full 5,000 less than people would like. The average unemployment reaches 5600, while most people think that it should be the 8800th

The values ??that people report from the previous year, increased by two to four percent, basically for inflation.

The survey shows that a higher average wage require people who have good physical security. Conversely, people in poorer material circumstances require that a higher minimum wage and unemployment benefits.

Differences in opinion on the level of the average wage, minimum wage and unemployment benefits are almost negligible between different social groups. Humans in reply slightly reflected his personal vision (unemployed on the amount of unemployment benefits, entrepreneurs on the average wage), but the differences are not substantial according to sociologists.

STEM polling agency conducted on a representative sample of the Czech population older than 18 years, which was on 24 September to 2 October 1061 people participated.
