Fuel prices last week fell again


PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - For filling stations last week, cheaper fuel, the price of gasoline fell by 40 cents to 37.31 crowns, diesel cheaper by 10 cents to 36.81 cents per liter. This development is the drop in prices of petroleum products on the stock market and developments in the currency markets, it is clear from the statistics of Monday CSS.

Also, the price of Brent crude last week dropped slightly. "The reason there are reports of high inventories in the United States, higher production and falling demand. Production of black gold has risen in the largest economy of the world on the seventh week in a row to 6.61 million barrels per day," said analyst Petr Cermak Colosseum with the fact that it is the highest value over the past 17 years.

World demand for gasoline during the period decreased by 2.7 percent to 8.49 million barrels per day. However, on Friday, the price of oil went up, while positively surprised statistics on GDP growth in the U.S.. The decline in oil prices, but also reflected positively on the prices of oil products in Rotterdam.

Koruna weakened slightly last week and over the following days should Cermak trend analyst cheaper at our filling stations continue. "We expect a drop in fuel prices in the order of several ten hellers," estimates.
