Randgold: Boss company sold part of its shares, the problems in Ivory Coast

Company boss Mark Bristow sold 13th November 45 000 shares of the company for a price around 110 USD / share. Bristow only slightly decreased their holdings (still holds 693,000 shares, ie 0.75% of the company), but the market sees similar reports negatively.

Ivory Coast President A. Outtara yesterday dismissed the government of the country, after the members of the governing parties opposed the bill on equality of women and men. Dissolution of the government is not an extraordinary event, however, investors may perceive it as a sign of political instability. Randgold Ivorian Tongon operates a mine, which is on its prudukci accounts for nearly one third. Chief M.Bristow yesterday said that the dissolution of the government will not have any effect its operation.
