Communists and Social Democrats in the Karlovy Vary region is tentatively agree on coalition


CARLSBAD (MEDIAFAX) - Carlsbad Communists and Social Democrats on Thursday afternoon tentatively agreed to conclude a regional coalition agreement. Agreement has yet to discuss the executive committees of both parties informed the Communist leader Jaroslav Bork.

"The agreement is that we agree with gliding mandate. This means that in the nine-county council communists will have the first two years five seats, the next two years the ratio is reversed. Now preparing a draft coalition agreement, which is in the early evening submit for approval by the Regional executive committees of both parties, "said Bork.

"We agreed that the governor will be a social democrat. Regional authorities, if all approved, could become the coalition agreement signed before the constituent assembly," said current Governor Josef Novotný (CSSD), with the new council members will meet for the first time on Friday 23 November.
