U.S. - Number of new requests for support last week fell by 25,000


The number of new requests for support in unemployment in the U.S. last week fell by 25,000 to a total of 370,000 cases. The main reason for high volatility in the past two weeks, the effects of Hurricane Sandy U.S. labor market. Market counted decline to 380,000 requests compared to 395,000 in the week before last.

The four-week moving average rose to 408,000 applications compared with the previous 405 750th

The number of Americans receiving long-term support in
unemploymentfell by 100,000 to 3.21 million. Including other benefits under other government support programs supported by the total number fell by 111,000 to 2.05 million people.
