CR - producer prices mixed in November, the growth in industry and agriculture, the decline in services and construction


Mom agricultural producer prices rose by 1.7%, in industry by 0.1%. Construction work prices fell by 0.1%, prices of market services by 0.3%.
Year-Agricultural producer prices were higher by 14.6%, in industry by 1.6%. Lower prices were works by 0.6% and market services by 1.0%.

Monthly changes

Agricultural producer prices rose by 1.7%. In crop production, prices increased by 1.5%, prices of cereals rose by 0.9%, oil 1.8%, potatoes by 6.9% and fruit by 8.2%. Prices of vegetables declined by 1.4%. Prices of animal products increased by 2.1%. Pig prices rose by 0.6%, eggs by 0.7%, cattle by 2.6%, milk by 2.7% and poultry by 3, 8%.

Industrial producer pricesthe total increased by 0.1%. Prices of food products, beverages and tobacco increased by 0.6%, the prices of dairy products and vegetable and animal oils and fats, both by 2.1% and grain mill products, starches and starch by 1.2%. Higher prices of transport equipment by 1.0%, the price of parts and accessories for motor vehicles by 1.3%. Prices fell in mining and quarrying by 3.4% and coke and refined petroleum products by 1.5%.

Prices of construction works (estimated) and prices of materials of construction are both decreased by 0.1%.

Prices of market services in the business sector decreased by 0.3%. Prices fell in advertising and market research services by 1.6%, financial services, except insurance and pension funding, and for freight both by 0.6%. Market services prices excluding advertising services decreased by 0.2%.

Year comparison:

Agricultural producer prices were higher by 14.6% (in October by 12.5%). In crop production, prices rose by 23.6%, the price of potatoes increased by 29.7%, cereals by 28.9%, vegetables by 28.2% and oilseeds by 20.8%. Fruit prices rose by 8.7%. In livestock production, prices were higher by 4.4%. Egg prices increased by 33.5% and 21.2% of pigs. Cattle prices were higher by 13.1%, poultry by 7.8%. Milk prices have fallen by 10.1%.

Industrial producer prices up by 1.6% (in October by 1.9%). Significantly, prices of chemicals and chemical products by 12.1% and food products, beverages and tobacco by 4.6%. Prices of industrial feed and vegetable and animal oils and fats rose by 19.8% and grain mill products, starches and starch by 4.8%, prices of dairy products fell by 1.1%.Prices of mining and quarrying by 3.1% and the basic metals and fabricated metal products 2.2%.
Among the main industrial groupings, the highest prices of durable consumer goods by 2.9%, prices fell only durable consumer goods by 0.4%.

Construction work prices were estimated lower by 0.6% (the same as in October). Prices of materials and products consumed in construction increased by 0.2% (in October by 0.7%).

Prices of market services in the business sphere were lower by 1.0% (the same as in October). Prices fell in advertising and market research services by 6.2%, for architectural and engineering services by 2.8% and telecommunications services by 1.0%. Higher prices for financial services, except insurance and pension funding, by 4.0%. Market services prices excluding advertising services decreased by 0.3% (in October by 0.1%).

Industrial producer prices in the EU - October 2012 *

In the European Union (EU27), according to data released by Eurostat, industrial producer prices rose month on month in October by 0.1% (in September by 0.3%). Among the countries for which data are available, prices increased the most in Belgium and the Netherlands, both by 0.8% and in Romania by 0.6%. The Slovak prices rose by 0.3% in the Czech Republic by 0.2%, in Germany and Austria, the prices did not change, in Poland decreased by 0.6%. The biggest drop in prices was recorded in Lithuania by 1.1% and Greece 1.0%.

Previous year, prices in the EU27 rose in October by 2.5% (in September by 2.6%). Most prices in Bulgaria rose by 6.9% in Romania and 6.5% in Cyprus by 6.3%. The Slovak prices rose by 4.0%, Poland 2.1%, Czech Republic 1.9%, Germany 1.5% and Austria by 0.9%.Previous year, prices did not fall in any of the countries of the European Union.

Czech Statistical Office prepared a revision of the standard calculation of the index of agricultural producer prices and price indices of market services.
Price indices of agricultural producers will be calculated from January 2013 to the new weighting schemes, based on the structure of average sales for the years 2009, 2010 and 2011. Indices will be calculated for the base average of 2010 = 100 Published indices for the years 2010, 2011 and 2012 are reviewed.
Price indices of market services from January 2013 will be calculated on the new scales, based on the structure of sales in 2011. The newly calculated indices based on the average of 2011 = 100 will be chained to the existing price based on the average of 2005 = 100, thus ensuring the continuation of the indices.The published indices will be revised.
