Obama to the post of Minister of Finance suggests Democrat Jack Lew

U.S. President Barack Obama today announced that the vacant post of Minister of Finance proposes current administration chief and former White House chief of government of the Office of Management and Budget Jack Lew Democrat.

Lew would replace outgoing Secretary Timothy Geithner, who did not want to continue in his post "in the second term," the current president.

New finance minister must sanctify even the Senate.

The new minister will most likely play a key role at the upcoming meeting of the President and legislators to increase the current debt ceiling. It is likely that Obama nomination relates to the fact that Lew has extensive experience "in the field". Lew also worked as an advisor to former Speaker of the House Tipa O'Neill. Most of his professional career, Lew has spent in government service with experience on Wall Street, when some time has served as Executive Director of Citigroup.

Obama gradually assembles a new team of ministers. Two days ago, suggested for the post of defense minister Republican Senator Chuck Hagel, at the end of December, to the post of foreign minister of Democrat John Kerry.
