Disappointment of GDP hit European stocks, PX again below 1000 points


European shares lost Thursday after it became clear that the dynamics of the German economy and the eurozone economy as a whole at the end of last year fell slightly behind expectations. Investor sentiment after noon slightly zlepšla data on the number of unemployed in the U.S., but to erase the entire drop it far enough. Good news came rather from the corporate sector, where investors received positive results and dividend increase in the filing of banks BNP Paribas and KBC, the mother of CSOB. Carmaker Renault results after growing by more than 7% for two-year maximum. Increase in dividend stocks also helped EdF Energy. Spanish Bankia merger created regional banks falls by 13% after the announcement conversion of bonds into shares.
The PX index ended a four-day series of growth and having lost 1.07% after a two-day break back below 1000 points. The reason for this decline is the loss of large emissions. Erste Bank has weakened by 2.7% and the three CEZ, Telefonica Czech VIG and consistently weakened about 1.4%. For smaller titles prevailed profits when managed to CME and Philip Morris CR. Shares of KB strengthened by 0.8%.
