Bundesbank: German economy in 1Q return to growth


German Bundesbank announced today that during the ongoing 1Q of this year, the German economy is expected to return to growth. According to the Bundesbank after a surprise decline in the economy by 0.6% in Q4 of last year's clear that the outlook for the German economy is recovering amazingly fast and is expected during 1Q13 real GDP to return to positive growth values.

An important driver is the increase in the general investor and business confidence, growth in industrial production and an unexpected drop in unemployment.

According to the Bundesbank, it seems that the recovery could gradually in the course of gaining further momentum.
The German economy in 2012 grew by 0.7%. In December last year, the Bundesbank cut its estimates for this year's GDP growth of +0.4%. Eurozone economy in Q4 of last year fell by 0.3%.
