CR - producer prices rose in January


Mom agricultural producer prices rose by 2.3%, in industry by 1.1% and construction by 0.1%. Market services prices remained unchanged.
Year-Agricultural producer prices were higher by 15.4%, in industry by 1.4%. Lower prices were works by 0.7% and market services by 1.5%.

Monthly changes

Agricultural producer prices rose by 2.3%. Milk prices have increased by 2.2%, cereals by 2.8% and vegetables by 5.4%. Poultry prices fell by 0.7%, eggs by 2.4%, pigs by 2.6%, oil 3.9% and fruit by 4.9%.

Industrial producer prices rose by 1.1%. Most significantly, the prices of electricity, gas and steam by 3.7% and prices of food products, beverages and tobacco by 0.9%, the price of animal feeds by 3.4% and beverages by 1.8%. Price of water, treatment and distribution increased by 5.7% and mining and quarrying by 2.5%.Only prices of coke and refined petroleum products by 0.2%, basic metals and fabricated metal products 0.1%.

Prices of construction works (estimated) increased by 0.1%, prices of materials and products consumed in construction increased by 0.5%.

Market services prices in the business sector remained unchanged. Higher prices for information services by 2.2% and prices of ancillary services in transport by 1.7%. Prices for advertising and market research services decreased by 3.6%. Market services prices excluding advertising services increased by 0.2%.

Year comparison:

Agricultural producer prices were higher by 15.4% (in December by 13.8%). In crop production, prices rose by 29.4%, prices of vegetables rose by 55.6%, potatoes by 42.6%, 38.0% for cereals and oilseeds by 15.0%. Fruit prices rose by 3.6%. In livestock production, prices were higher by 1.7%.Egg prices increased by 19.4% and 9.8% of cattle. Poultry prices were higher by 7.9%, pigs by 6.5%. Milk prices fell by 6.7%.

Industrial producer prices up by 1.4% (in December by 1.2%). Biggest effect on the overall price level, the rise in prices of electricity, gas and steam by 3.7% and food products, beverages and tobacco by 3.9%. Especially prices of animal feeds by 24.0% and meat and meat products by 5.5%. Higher prices were chemicals and chemical products by 8.4%, and water treatment and distribution of 5.9%. Prices of basic metals and fabricated metal products 2.2%, mining and quarrying 2.7% and coke and refined petroleum products by 0.8%.
Among the main industrial groupings, the highest prices of durable consumer goods by 2.0%, prices fell only durable consumer goods by 0.3%.

Prices of construction workwere estimated to decrease by 0.7% (in December after correction by 0.9%). Prices of materials and products consumed in construction increased by 0.7% (in December by 0.4%).

Prices of market services in the business sector fell by 1.5% (in December by 1.9%). Prices fell in advertising and market research services by 13.5%, for architectural and engineering services by 2.5% and telecommunications services by 0.8%. Higher prices for financial services, except insurance and pension funding, by 2.7% and information services by 3.2%. Market services prices excluding advertising services decreased by 0.3% (in December by 0.4%).

Industrial producer prices in the EU - December 2012 *

In the European Union (EU27), according to data released by Eurostat, industrial producer prices in December momdecreased by 0.2% (the same as in November). In most countries for which data are available, the prices went down except for Belgium and Sweden, where prices rose by 1.2% and Finland 0.2%. Prices fell the most in Bulgaria by 1.0%, Denmark 0.8% and Cyprus by 0.7%. In Austria, prices fell by 0.6% in Poland and the Slovak Republic rose by 0.4%, the Czech Republic and Germany +0.3%.

Previous year, prices in the EU27 rose in December by 1.9% (in November by 1.9%). Prices increased the most in Belgium 6.4%, Bulgaria 5.4% and Denmark 4.9%. The Slovak prices rose by 3.8%, Germany 1.5%, Czech Republic 1.2%, Poland 0.6% and Austria by 0.1%. The fall in prices was observed.

Priceindices of agricultural producers are calculated from January 2013 to the new weighting schemes derived from the average of sales for the years 2009, 2010 and 2011. The indices are calculated for the base average of 2010 = 100 The revised time series of price indices for the years 2010, 2011 and 2012 is currently published retrospectively in its first porevizní for publication in January 2013, which will be published the first Third 2013th This new time series of indices has a single base average of 2010. Price indices of market servicesare calculated from January 2013 to the new scales, based on the structure of sales in 2011. The newly calculated indices based on the average of 2011 = 100 were chained to the current average price base year 2005 = 100, which is a continuation of the indices.
