Operators support the open operating system Firefox, want to disrupt the dominance of Google's Android


America Movil telecom operators and a group of more than a dozen European mobile operators Telefónica lead with Spanish or German Deutsche Telekom announced that they support the development of a new open operating system for smart phones Mobin called Firefox. As the creator of Firefox is evident in the PC world IT company Mozilla Corporation popular PC operating system which brings many years of bitter fighting domunujícími Windows from Microsoft.
Firefox Support for smart phones is an attempt to reduce the current dominance of Android mobile operating system from Google. Operators would like to themselves involved in more profits from the services provided by operating systems.
The first devices supported by the new system would have on the markets in Brazil, Colombia, Maďasku, Mexico, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Spain and Venezuela should occur during the second quarter of this year. Bring them to market LG Electronics, Huawei Technologies, ZTE and TCL.
