UK - manufacturing sector grew twice as fast as expected

Activity in the manufacturing sector in the UK in February revived. Production in the manufacturing sector grew 0.8% compared to the January decline of 1.9%. While the market expected growth, but only by 0.4%.
Growth recorded eight of the 13 categories tracked production, led by machinery and equipment production, transportation and processing of metals. The sharp decline recorded production of consumer durables, which decreased by 5.1%, which was the biggest drop since April 2008.

Compared manufacturing sector recorded a decrease of 1.4%

Overall industrial production rose island kingdom in February by 1% and also exceeded estimates. Compared total industrial production fell by 2.2%.
The main reason for the overall growth of the sector of the mom extraction and processing of raw materials with growth of 2.8%. Production of gas and electricity grew by 1.3% due to unusually cold weather.
