Škoda Auto delivered in 1Q13 to 20 thousand units less than last year
"With regard to generational replacement model Škoda Octavia responsible development in the first quarter of 2013 to our expectations," said Chairman of the Board of Skoda Winfried Vahland. During March alone, Škoda delivered 83,800 vehicles, of which more than 4,600 cars in the Czech Republic. From January to March, the brand sold in its home market 12,600 cars, the brand's market share in the first three months increased to 33.4 percent.
Most went to the market traditionally Skoda Octavia, which car for three months added 87,500, silver place occupied Skoda Fabia, Skoda Superb which followed.
In summer, the Mladá Boleslav automaker plans to start next limousine deploy additional three variants of the model Octavia Combi 4x4 Combi and Octavia RS. In the second half of them in addition there will be four new or completely redesigned models.
