Czech university graduates expect a starting salary of 22,000 net
Against this, for example, students in the Slovak Republic with a starting salary counted 737 euros (18,500 dollars), Poland and Hungary, € 686 588 euros. Against this, for example, have higher expectations Slovenes (1004 euros).
Jobs by fresh diploma holders often looking on specialized websites (83 percent), directly on the website of dream employers (68 percent), with family and friends (28 percent) or at job fairs or social networks.
The willingness of young people to work is moving at a relatively high level. This would actually underwent 72 percent of respondents. Abroad would work went up to 63 percent of graduates. Greater willingness to show such a change in men (65 percent), while moving abroad for work would undergo 58 percent of women.
The survey also showed that Czech students through the academic work actively seek opportunities for professional experience. Two thirds of them attended practice during the study, more than half of those surveyed are buying regular job.
"Although the most common work experiences include short-term jobs, students in the Czech Republic most useful practice in the field they are studying, and experience acquired abroad. Whilst the opportunity to develop professional experience in selecting important criterion for a third of students in job selection, this decisive criterion for a fifth of them, "said Eugene Korděnko, director of business advisory firm Deloitte.
The most important aspects of working life is enjoyable for respondents working team, a good salary and the opportunity to achieve good results in their abilities. Less important for students labeled independent (separate) work, flexible working hours and stress at work.
The survey also included questions about the length of the period of first employer, or for how long they expect promotion. Nearly 60 percent of graduates and students in the Czech Republic for the first employer plans to stay longer than one year, but expect that after the first year of study will be promoted.
Deloitte held its survey on a sample of 4,000 students from 11 countries of Central Europe.
