Czech Republic - producer prices in March were flat


Mom agricultural producer prices and industrial producer changed. Prices of construction works decreased by 0.2%, prices of market services increased by 0.1%.
Year-agricultural producer prices were higher by 12.5%, in industry by 1,0%. Construction work prices were lower by 0.8%, market services by 0.3%.


Monthly changes

Agricultural producer prices were unchanged. Milk prices increased by 1.4%, oil 1.6%, potatoes by 1.7% and fresh vegetables by 1.8%. Egg prices fell by 2.9%, fruit by 1.8%, 1.7% poultry and pigs by 0.8%.

Industrial producer prices on the total remained unchanged. Most significantly, prices of coke and refined petroleum products by 1.7%. Higher prices chemicals and chemical products by 1.2% and mining and quarrying by 0.5%, the price of oil by 6.7% and stone, sand and clay by 1.5%.Prices of food products, beverages and tobacco increased by 0.1%, the prices of vegetable and animal oils and fats by 3.3%.

Prices of construction works (estimated) decreased by 0.2%, prices of material inputs in construction increased by 0.1%.

Prices of market services in the business sector increased by 0.1%. Price growth in advertising and market research services by 10.4%, while prices fell for the storage of 18.1% for land and pipeline transport by 1.2% and information services by 2.4%. Market services prices excluding advertising services decreased by 0.7%.

Year comparison:

Agricultural producer prices were higher by 12.5% ??(in February by 15.6%). In crop production, prices rose by 27.0%, increased the prices of fresh vegetables by 46.8%, potatoes by 36.7%, 32.5% for cereals and oilseeds by 15.9%.Animal products prices after 25 months of growth for the first time lower than last year by 1.6%. Egg prices fell by 35.2% and milk by 3.5%. Poultry prices rose 10.9%, about 6.3% of cattle and pigs by 2.8%.

Industrial producer prices up by 1.0% (in February by 1.3%). The price level was significantly influenced by higher prices of food products, beverages and tobacco by 4.1%, of which mainly feeds on 23.1% and meat and meat products by 4.8%. Prices of electricity, gas and steam rose by 3.7% and chemicals and chemical products by 3.3%. Primarily prices of coke and refined petroleum products by 6.2%. Prices of basic metals and fabricated metal products decreased by 1.6% and mining and quarrying by 2.4%.
Among the main industrial groupings, the prices increased the most durable consumer goods by 1.9%.

PricesConstruction work is estimated lower by 0.8% (in February by 0.7%). Prices of materials and products consumed in construction increased by 0.6% (the same as in February).

Prices of market services in the business sector decreased by 0.3% (in February increased by 0.5%). Prices fell for storage of 19.8% for land and pipeline transport by 2.7%, for legal and accounting services by 1.4% and telecommunications services by 1.3%. Increased prices for advertising and market research services by 5.5% and in computer programming and counseling of 1.7%. Market services prices excluding advertising services decreased by 0.8% (in February by 0.1%).

Industrial producer prices in the EU - in February 2013 *

In the European Union (EU27), according to data released by Eurostat, industrial producer prices in February, momincreased by 0.4% (the same as in January). Among the countries for which data are available, prices increased the most in the UK by 2.0%, Greece 1.7%, in Hungary by 1.2%. Prices have come down only to Slovak 0.6%, in Latvia by 0.3% and Germany 0.1. In the Czech Republic and Austria, the prices have not changed, Poland, prices rose by 0.3%.

Year, prices in the EU27 rose in February by 1.3% (in January by 1.7%). The highest annual rates in Estonia by 9.7%, Romania 6.5% and Belgium 4.2%. On the Slovak prices increased by 1.4% in the Czech Republic by 1.3%, Germany 1.2% and Poland 0.3%. The decline in prices was recorded in Austria by 0.5% and in Sweden by 1.6%.
