U.S. - The number of new applications for last week rose by 4,000

The number of Americans receiving long-term support for unemployment fell by 35,000 to 3.07 million.
The number of Americans receiving their wages to have an emergency or extended support payments dropped by 55,000 to 1.78 million people.
