Ukraine's Naftogaz has suspended gas supplies to Poland

KIEV (MEDIAFAX) - Ukrainian energy company Naftogaz has suspended gas supplies to Poland, said Polish gas PGNiG společnnost. Informed about the server on Friday, Kiev Post.

Reason for the suspension of gas supplies is a new Ukrainian law that Naftogaz orders to sell all natural gas produced domestically, informs Kiev Post.

"The company PGNiG will not accept the arguments of the Ukrainian side and will require fulfillment of all obligations of contract which expires in 2020," the company said in its subsequent PGNiG statement.

PGNiG has contract with Naftogaz for supplies nine million cubic meters of natural gas annually.
