Minister John wants to publish roll-call vote of Ministers


PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - The Minister Radek John (VV) wants no later than November 1 to submit an amendment to the Rules of Procedure of the Government Government that ministers will no longer be able to vote anonymously on issues of public contracts or grants. The Minister said that on Tuesday at a press conference.

"One of the main problems is the anonymous collective irresponsibility of government," said John. Calls, therefore, that in the fight against corruption to publish how individual ministers voted for instance in the case of decisions on public procurement and the management of state property.

Although the Minister said that the proposal submitted in early November, in his words, but it is already possible to do within a week.

A similar law, according to him in the future will involve not only governments but also local government decision making. John is in April next year plans to submit an amendment to the municipalities and counties. Amendment to the town halls should be obliged to publish information on a recorded vote of local and regional authorities in deciding on disposal of property and government procurement.
