Details of pension reform in the Czech Republic is still unclear

Prime Minister Necas said that personally, I can not imagine mandatory contributions to private pension funds, as proposed by the Commission Bezděkov. Necas should reduce the current premium of 28% to 25%, while people might send another 3% to pension funds from this tax if they would add the same amount of their own. (HN)

The proposed system would probably significantly increase contributions to pension funds, but definitely less than the original plan of mandatory contributions. We have to wait for the final version of reform.
