MF: Czech Republic ran out 99.54 percent of EU funds for the period 2004 2006


PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - The Czech Republic was the EU Structural Funds in the programming period 2004 to 2006 very successful, generally used 1.685 billion euros (41.2 billion CZK), which represents 99.54 percent of allocated funds. On Monday, it said the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

Of the thirteen operational programs ran out of ten programs of its allocation to 100 percent, all the rest are above 90 percent.

On 29 and 30 September 2010 sent the Paying and Certifying Authority Ministry of Finance, the European Commission a request for final payment for the programming period 2004 - 2006.Structural Funds in the period were the final beneficiaries spent until mid-2009, then Member States had a year and a quarter to close all programs (ie accounting for the remaining funds, control, certification and audit).

This step was the conclusion of the 2004-2006 programming period of the CR. After a positive assessment of these applications by the European Commission will pay the remaining five percent that are in the operational programs still detained.
