European shares were flat on Friday rather


PARIS (MEDIAFAX) - European shares during Friday's trading rather flat, fear of a surprise drop in the number employed in the United States were to match expectations that the Federal Reserve takes further steps to support the economy. It said on Friday Reuters.

Major European FTSEurofirst 300 index closed at 1 070,56 points, a rise of 1.2 percent for the week ending.

"In the last few months markets basically ignored the situation on the labor market and consumer confidence data. On the other hand, information about the so-called quantitative easing (the central bank issues new money into the financial system), increase liquidity and launch a rally in commodity markets," Vincent said Gann, a technical analystIG Markets.
