Mortgage market in a long time grew in all regions


PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - The third quarter of this year, after a long time, was a period when rising all regional mortgage markets in the country. Informed the Mortgage Bank on Thursday, referring to the statistics of the Ministry for Regional Development.

The largest annual increase recorded in the Jihlava volumes (64%), followed in the Zlín Region (35%) and České Budějovice (33%).

"This year's third quarter was unusual in several ways. First, after a long time was the period in which grew all regional markets. Another interesting feature is the growth rate, which in most regions ranged in the order of 20 to 30% of new volumes.The slowest growth in the order of 15%, but this is still a very good result, it can be seen at the Karlovy Vary and Hradec Kralove market, "commented John Sadil, CEO of Mortgage Bank.

"These results, however, not written down, because we are aware of the low comparative base. This past year in late summer slowed the mortgage market, where people wait, as will the overall economic situation, and had no desire to go into the larger financial commitments. The good news for the mortgage market is that the mood is likely to decline again and awakens interest in owner-occupied housing, "said Sadil.

Only in the Karlovy Vary and Pardubice failed to overcome last year's value, and only seven, or five percent.During the period from January to September 2010, the fastest growing market of South Bohemia. They are regions where one goes to the mortgage loan mortgage banks, elsewhere we have ahead of our competitors a little smaller. No fundamental change has occurred in the regional markets or in the amount of the average mortgage.This value remains in all regions more or less stable, ranging from the average of 2 million crowns in Prague and central Bohemia, to 1.3 million crowns in the Zlín region. The major change in this direction occurred in the third quarter of 2010 only in Czech Budejovice region. While last year there was an average loan of one million crowns this year rose by more than half to 1.55 million.
