State shall, from next year promoting solar power plants

PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - Big solar power plant operators from next year to allow limited support from the state. The law, which aims Ministry of Industry and Trade to stop the mass construction of new photovoltaic systems, on Wednesday passed the Senate that the amendment did not pass any resolution.

Upper Chamber discussed the draft over four hours. Finally, the vote did not pass either of amendments or a proposal for its adoption in the form in which it is sent to the Senate Chamber of Deputies.

The amendment introduces tax revenues operators of solar power 26procentní taxes, increases the fee for set-aside of agricultural land and establishing the gift tax on the emission allowances.Thus obtained means the government wants to subsidize the distribution companies, which by law must purchase electricity from solar power plants.
