British airlines are interested in Czech airline industry


PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - Research and development of aircraft engines, material engineering, management and control systems and UAVs are possible areas of cooperation agreed between the Czech and British air company in the Czech air missions in Great Britain. The mission took place in late May. Its aim was to promote the Czech aerospace industry and the Czech Republic as a place suitable for investment. The meeting was also attended by representatives of Meggit Avionics, GE Aviation University, QinetiQ, Boeing, Charles and others. "Participation in the air mission in Great Britain was part of long-term activities of Aero Vodochody in this territory. Helped spread the word about current activities and strategy of the company a wider range of potential partners, suppliers and customers, combined in different clusters air. On the other hand, the mission brought for Aero Vodochody, a number of interesting and useful information about future projects planned British aircraft manufacturers. great contribution was also mentioned the possibility of obtaining various kinds of state aid in the implementation of joint investment projects, "said Joseph Šonský, Director of Business Development of Aero Vodochody.

Czech airline mission also visited the University of Cranfield, which is the center of British aviation research. The tours of local research institutes opened the question of cooperation with Czech universities research institutes focusing on research and development of aviation technology.

The British aerospace industry is one of the most advanced in the world and Europe is the leader in the field. It has a turnover of more than 20 billion pounds annually and employs over one hundred and ten thousand people. British companies interested in seminars on current developments in the aerospace sector in the Czech Republic, especially the production of aircraft, integrated components, aircraft engines, aircraft systems, and manufacturing technology.Partners of the event were the ADS Group, Middlands Aerospace Alliance and the Farnborough Aerospace Consortium.
