Shareholders approved the financial statements of CEPS company net profit reached 1.7 billion


PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - The General Meeting of CEPS on Wednesday approved the financial statements for the 2010 unqualified auditor agreed, net profit for 2010 amounted to 1,701,701,169 crowns. Informed about Eva Vítková of CEPS responsible for PR and communication with the media.

The General Meeting also decided to establish a Development Fund agreed to its system and rules of operations, noted the results of the Board and report on business activities and assets for 2010. It also took note of the Report of the Supervisory Board for 2010.

ČEPS operates in the Czech Republic as the sole operator of the transmission system (power lines 400 kV and 220 kV), maintains, restores and develops 39 to 68 transformer substations transferring electrical energy from transmission to distribution system management and route length of 2979 km with a voltage level 400 kV and 1371 km of 220 kV voltage level. The power system of the Czech Republic provides CEPS transmission services and services related to ensuring a balance between production and consumption of electricity in real time (system services). CEPS also provides cross-border traffic for export, import and transit of electric energy.
