It can be concluded that the termination of contracts at the end of the year, primarily concerns people with lower education.

A different survey methodology led to a discrepancy between the general unemployment rate (ILO) and the registered unemployment (MLSA). The trend was similar for both rates, the registered unemployment rate reached in the 1st MLSA quarter 2012 value of 9.0%.

The Survey also collects data on persons who do not actively seek work to qualify for the ILO unemployed, but they declare their willingness to work. No later than 14 days to start work 67.0 thousand. people.

1) For the unemployed according to ILO definition of persons, who during the reference period had no job, no neodpracovaly one hour for pay or reward and actively seeking work that would be able to join within two weeks. This methodology is identical for all EU member states and provides internationally comparable data. It should be noted that the definition of the unemployed by ILO differs from the definition of job seekers registered at employment offices of the MLSA.
