Colombia, the IMF has confirmed access to flexible loan


WASHINGTON (MEDIAFAX) - International Monetary Fund (IMF) confirmed the South American Colombia flexible access to credit. Informed the agency said.

Flexible credit line is to serve as insurance for countries that do not require immediate emergency loan. Countries that meet a set of conditions, they can draw money either immediately or rely on them as a guarantee against deterioration. Monetary Fund has introduced this type of loan for well managing new market economy to help against the effects of the crisis.

"Colombia continued resistance to the global financial turmoil and its dynamics during the past year shows strong foundations and skillful political leadership," said the IMF.

How to Colombia by the fund said in connection still takes credit line as a preventive.
