Industrial production in Britain in March rose more than expected


LONDON (MEDIAFAX) - Industrial production in Britain in March, mom, rose by 0.9 percent after surprisingly in February fell by 1.1 percent. Has reported on Thursday on its website the British National Statistical Office (ONS).

Production of British industry excluding the energy sector and mining industries in March rose more than expected. Markets allowed for the strengthening of 0.5 percent.

Particularly increased production of chemicals, transport equipment, computers and electronics.

British industrial production, including energy and mining sectors in March in line with forecasts weakened by 0.3 percent after in February rose 0.4 percent.
