U.S. - the consumer price index in April, unchanged, core-CPI grew by 0.2%

Consumer price index (CPI) in the U.S. stagnated in April compared with growth of 0.3% in March. The market average is calculated stagnation in the range of estimates from -0.1 to +0.3%. In comparison to the CPI grew by 2.3%, which is the smallest increase since February 2011.

The so-called. core-CPI, which in itself bears the influence of volatile food and energy prices, rose the second consecutive year by 0.2%. A significant component of growth, the increase in prices of used cars by 1.5%. The total growth sectors are also involved medical care, transport of clothing.

Energy prices rose, mom of 1.7%, which was the highest since last October. In March, growth reached 0.9% level. Petrol prices in April fell by 2.6%, the highest for the last 6 months.
Food prices in April rose by 0.2%. Prices rents increased by 0.2%.
