We stay in the euro and fulfill the commitments, promises the winner of Greek elections


ATHENS (MEDIAFAX) - Greece exchange the euro for the drachma back and will respect its international obligations. Following the publication of partial results of parliamentary elections on Sunday evening said the head of the victorious New Democracy Antonis Samaras, quoted by AFP.

"Today, Greeks expressed their willingness to stay with the euro," said President of the Greek conservatives at a press conference that called for establishing a coalition of pro-European parties.

National democracy reached in early elections to 30 percent of the vote, results from partial results. Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA) amounted to 26 percent.

SYRIZA party leader Alexis Tsipras acknowledged electoral offense. At the same time Samarasovu refused an offer to the radical left participated in the national unity government.

"I called Samaras to congratulate him. Can form a government. We will be in opposition, we represent the majority of people who are against the (financial) assistance," he said.
