The German regulator is investigating Deutsche Bank's handling of the case due to Libor

FRANKFURT (MEDIAFAX) - Global Investigation handling the Libor interest rate spread to Germany, where the local German Supervisory Authority BaFin banking market began investigating the financial institution, Deutsche Bank. Has reported on Sunday, Reuters, referring to two sources familiar with the matter.

Deutsche Bank, Germany's market regulator began investigating the scandal because of the fraudulent manipulation of Libor interbank interest rates.

British and American authorities had previously accused several banks from Europe, USA and Japan, including the third-largest British bank Barclays of trying to manipulate Libor rates, which are used as the basis for interest on securities and loans for hundreds of billions of dollars.

Deutsche Bank said the case was that cooperates with U.S. and European authorities in the investigation of the handling of Libor.

According to one of the sources to Reuters, the first results of the survey by Deutsche Bank to be available in mid-July.
