Intel invests 4.1 mld.USD in ASML to accelerate its production

World leader in the production of semiconductors, the U.S. Intel announced that it will invest around 4.1 mld.USD the Dutch company ASML in an effort to accelerate the transition process of the Dutch company to use new production technologies.
In the first stage, Intel invests some 2.1 ASML mld.USD exchange for a 10 percent stake. Later, the company should further 1 přitéci mld.USD exchange for an additional 5% and a further 1 mld.USD should arrive in the next stages.
Dutch investment firm of similar acts with the Korean Samsung and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufakturing.

Intel helps Dutch company with accelerating the development of new advanced technology known as EUV - extreme ultraviolet lithography, which allows you to create powerful semiconductors with smaller dimensions. U.S. investment firms will accelerate the introduction of new technology into practice about 2 years.

ASML shares in response to the report reinforced jumps up to 11%, which was the largest one-day change since April 2008.
