Britain will publish data on the June inflation

LONDON (MEDIAFAX) - Great Britain on Tuesday published information about the growth of consumer prices in June. In May, annual inflation in Britain unexpectedly fell to 2.8 percent, which represented the lowest level since November 2009.

Analysts expected in May while the stagnation in the level of three percent in April.

Mom consumer prices in Britain dropped in May by 0.1 percent, after growth of 0.6 percent in April. It was her first fall since the beginning of May the current measurement methodology in 1996.

Most prices of food and fuel prices, which in May responded to the decline in world oil prices.

The British central bank the Bank of England has set its goal to keep inflation around two percent level. Above this threshold is the UK annual inflation was about two and a half years.Bank of England in May predicted that over two per cent inflation will remain until the end of this year and by mid 2014, will drop to around 1.6 percent.
