CNB will publish data on household debt with banks at end of June


PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - Czech National Bank (CNB) on Tuesday published information about the state of indebtedness of Czech households in banks and financial institutions at the end of June. This is the end of May had risen to 1.1279 trillion crowns, representing a monthly increase of 3.58 billion crowns.

Year on year, household debt increased in May to 54.47 billion crowns (+5,07%). For every Cech seemed debt 107 344 crowns.

Business debt in May month on month increased by 9.12 billion crowns (+0.9%) to 963.27 billion crowns. Compared with May 2011 was about 33.85 billion crowns higher (+3,64%).

CNB provides statistics on the indebtedness of households and businesses each month in the National monetary survey.It is derived from the balance sheets of financial institutions in addition to central banks, commercial banks and branches of foreign banks in the Czech Republic, also include money market funds, credit and consumer cooperatives.
