Fuel prices rose last week due to oil price rises

PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - During the last week slightly increased fuel prices, gasoline price increases for crude oil on world markets more expensive by 28 cents to 36.94 cents per liter and diesel price rose six cents to 36.17 crowns. This follows from the statistics published Monday by CCS.

Colosseum analyst Petr Cermak was the main reason for the rising fuel price increase of oil prices on world markets, which are reflected in the prices of petrol and diesel on the stock exchange in Rotterdam.

Brent crude oil price on world markets climbed to a maximum of several months and continues to grow. Brent Crude Oil ended last week at $ 111 per barrel and currently (11:00 CET) in the range of 113.82 dollars per barrel."The price of oil pushes up the optimism in financial markets, which triggered speculation about the upcoming stimulus measures central banks," said Cermak.

In his words, stood during the attention last week by OPEC report, which revealed the highest production of Iraq in 10 years. Mining on the other hand fell in Iran. The cartel as a whole produced 31.2 million barrels of oil, which is slightly lower value compared with the June mining.

"Growth in oil prices drove up the average prices of petrol and diesel in Rotterdam, which is reflected in the following days, even our pumping stations," said Cermak, adding that fuel prices should be increased in the order of several desetihaléřů.
