How is the behavior of European banks?

Their behavior says a lot. Banks does restrict cross-border transactions. That in itself would not be all that surprising if it did not apply and transactions within the financial group. Not so long ago, many multinational companies worked with the cash pool. This means that the first branch, with a lack of cash borrowed from other branches, respectively. headquarters, and then borrow from banks.

Banks are increasingly afraid of division and subsequent devaluation of the euro currency weak countries. German banks (such as Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank) does not fund or its affiliates.Prefer a situation where their branches operating in Spain lends insufficient cash from the European Central Bank and the central a surplus of available funds back at the ECB saved.

Another example is UniCredit. This Italian bank a short time ago based on its pan-European approach. This has recently changed significantly. Recently the individual departments significantly more freedom than was previously customary. What are doing? If each branch less dependent on one another, this would allow easier sale if needed.

What can I say? Perhaps only that banks are trying to protect their assets.
